It's WEDNESDAY..................

Hi All
It's Wednesday and I have been busy with my mini's today.  I have 5 on the go and they are keeping me going.  Some of my packages have arrived at home and I can not wait to get home to see what has arrived.

My Travelogue has arrived at it's first stop..............

Here she is in all her glory sat on Tamara's table.  She looks just as she did when I sent her off so that's good.  I have no idea why my travelogue is female but she is.

Brenda posted hers to me today so I should be getting it sometime next week.

Kyle is ringing, hang on.........HI KYLE!!!!!  He is fine and was wondering if I had got any strange emails from him, erm.....NO!

I am just in the process of making another T!m Holtz swivel clasp charm for Tamara as she liked the ones I made for Leonie, Sallyanne and Valerie.

I think that is all I have to waffle about today.  I am looking forward to getting home and crafting with my lanyard pockets and trying to figure out how I can make a mini from them.  I have some curtain call paper coming in the mail for my pocket pages and I can't wait to get started on those.  I think when I get back to work in just over a weeks time my bag will have to be bigger!!

Love You

Hello Tuesday...........

Hi All.......................
It is Tuesday evening and I am so excited because all but 1 of my packages has reached their destinations.  Tamara got my travelogue yesterday and Kelli got her package for her and her daughter.  I have just put together 3 T!m Holtz swivel charm clasps for 3 special ladies.  I think I took photos of them all.

YAY I did and here they are......

This one is for Leonie to say thanks for being a super cool hostess and it has a keychain of the Royal Wedding on it that she wanted.

This one is for Valerie.  She said that she wanted one when I posted pictures of the ones I did for Leonie's swap on the {scrap} beach.

This is one for my dear friend Sallyanne in Australia.  She is in need of a smile after some funky swaps so hopefully this will manage to make her smile.

I hope the ladies like them.  I have just packaged them up and hopefully I will get out soon to post them.  I am at work at the moment and I never know if I will get out to post things.  I get to go home on Friday and start my Bird and Flower 4x4 pages for a swap.  I have ordered some bottle tops from ebay so I can't wait for them to get home so i can play with them.

I am also in a Mini album swap this month and I have to use lanyard ID plastic wallets to make a 7 page mini with and I think they arrived at home today.  I have to wait to get started but I am planning them out so all I have to do is get going when I get home.

I think that is all I have to report today.  Twyla just messaged me to say her mini arrived today and she likes it which is good.  I can't wait for hers to get here.

Travelogue on it's way......

Hiya All

My travelogue has started it's journey and it's on its way to America.  Here are some photos....

This is the front cover it's called 'My Purple Journey' and it's lovely!!!

This is my paper bag and my page.  I picked the question 'If you were stranded on an island who would you want to be stranded with?  I (of course) picked Bruce Payne.  This is my 'pinboard' and my tag inside looked like this................

I had a play with some lace and metal letters.  I used a number 8 tag that Kathryn sent me and put it through my Big Shot and embossing folder with gears on it.  I swiped my ink pad over and highlighted the embossing.

This was the back of my paper bag and someone has turned Mr Blue, Purple.  It fitted perfectly with my theme.  I really enjoyed making my page and I hope that it comes back to me in 6 months time in one piece.  Please pray it does.  I haven't heard from Tamara, the lady I sent it to, so I hope that she is still on for doing a page and sending it on.  Fingers crossed for my Purple Journey.

I have finished my TWS May Mini Album Swap for Twyla and sent it off today.....

This is the front.  Twyla said she had no men in her life that she would scrap photos of so I made her a more female themed mini.

Hi All
The Sun is out and all is well with the world.  I will be home on Friday and able to begin putting together my TWS Mini for Twyla.  I have everything ready just got to make my front and back covers and make them all pretty.

I am still waiting for my T!m Holtz swivel clasp charms to be deliverd in America.  The Mini for Shelley is taking it's sweet time getting to her also.  I hope that the floods are not having too terrible an impact on American life and I feel for everyone involved.

The swap box I did for Kelli arrived and so did the YPP Mini I made for Valerie.  I am not worried yet but I am so impatient for my charms and mini to reach their destinations.

I have some exciting news, well, exciting for me......I have joined a TRAVELOGUE group on YPP and I can not wait to get started.  I have planned out what I will be making and can't wait to get home to put it into a journal.  Once I have made my journal or travelogue I will send it to the next person on the list and they will make a 2 page spread for me.  The title of my Travelogue is My Purple Journey.  I will be asking the ladies to create me a 2 page spread out of anything purple, any shade and anything they like.  There may be up to 7 of us in a group and it's like a round robin.  Each month you get a travelogue and do your pages and then send it on to the next person then hopefully in 7 months time you get yours back completed, yay!!

I spent last night making charms and stick pins to give to the ladies in my group as a thank you for being part of my books journey around the world.  They look fabulous and I will be posting pictures soon.

I think that's all the news I have for my crafty blog................

This picture is a wall hanging that I made for someone while I was living-in at De Montfort University as a carer and it was for Katie's Birthday and she lived across the courtyard from me.

Until next time..................

I completely forgot................

I just have to share with you -  Bruces new movie came out! was absolutely fabulous.  Really scary and the ending was very strange.

Just got to wait for the next ones :- Carmen's Kiss in June and Re-Kill in September.  I can't wait!!!!!!!!

There are more:- disturbance and secretstone.  He has been a busy man.

I also watched One point O - extremely strange!

Many Scrappy Returns, lol.

Long time no post....................

Since I last posted I have gained a year!  I am 33 now, how scary!! I have changed jobs and made another 2 mini albums for swaps.  I have also made some Tim Holtz Swivel Clasp Charms (had great fun making them) and got them ready for posting.

I have also made up a box for my angel swapper.  I entered a secret valentine swap and whoever was supposed to send to me, for whatever reason, didn't.  So an angel was called for and she seems lovely but instead of just sending me something off her own back I suggested a swap of goodies and I also made her a tenny weeny mini that  made from 1 12x12 piece of cardstock.  I have to show you some of the things I have been making.  You can see more @ YPP or {scrap} beach or Vikkles2006 on youtube or followingthepapertrail on ning.

These are two of the swivel charms I made.  I watched several videos and decided on my own style.
I printed out my own card enclosure and added ribbon.  I made my own tags with all of my information on and put them in the bag of the little packet.  I made 6 charms and they are all waiting to be posted after the bank holiday.

My hadmade tags - very nice.

All done and ready to go.

This is Shelleys "Family Love" mini album.

A side view of the mini.  There were 8 paper bags back to back and a large tag in each paper bag and smaller tags in the smaller 'pages'  It was very colourful and I had fun making it.

This Mini was for Valerie.  I put the names of her grandchildren in it for her.  It was another colourful mini.  Again there were 8 paper bags back to back.  I love making paper bag minis.

The large pages flip up to reveal more room for pictures and writing.

I can't wait to get going on my next mini.  My partner is Twyla, what a lovely name!

May your days be scrappy!
